Iceland Bound

Hello!!

Just a quick update, we are now in Iceland for four days. We will be heading home after that and the blogging should resume as normal, but in the meantime, I apologize for how sporadic it has been over the course of this trip. I wanted to blog every detail and neat find I found but I either didnt have the time or the energy to do it. Things have been go, go, go lately and the blog had to take the back seat. Also not being able to post pictures has put a damp on my blogging, but I will share them when I get back home.

Anyways, I just wanted to pop in to say hello and let you all know what's up. I miss you all dearly, and am excited for when I can get back to the normal routine. However, at the moment I am very much enjoying my trip! I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to see all these countries. I'm hoping to find some Icelandic wool tomorrow!! I trust you are all having a lovely summer holiday as well, and I wish you lots of days full of sunshine and fun!!

Much love, xx

  1. Ohhh Dan and I watched Geological Journey on CBC as part of The Nature of Things. It was a 6 part series. Anyway, one was on Iceland and how there is a volcano there that attributes to the country. It was so neat to see the country. Such a beautiful place!! You are greatly missed, by the way. Enjoy the rest of your trip!!

    From you know who

  3. I think it's just so awesome you get to have a trip like this. :) I loved the opportunities I had to travel, and I REALLY enjoyed my 1.5 days in Iceland. We got to roam parts of Reykjavik, Iceland, and it was so awesome to be somewhere so completely different from where I lived.

My mom has never had the opportunity to go further than North America (she's been to Canada and Mexico) and she would love to go. My stepdad has a doctorate in history and used to teach high school history. I know they would both love the opportunity.

Enjoy your time there. We miss you, but we know you'll return some day! :)
