May's Week 1 Socks

HaPpY Weekend!!

Guess what!  I finally finished the Jazz Socks!!  I was up this morning at 3:00am and after unsuccessfully trying to get back to sleep for a while, I decided to get up and go downstairs to knit.  I thought I might as well be productive if I'm not sleeping.  So during that time I finished the toe of the second sock and now I have a completed pair!!

Wheeeeeeeee!!!  I'm so excited to wear them!!  Aren't they pretty??  I got the yarn from Elly in the "Let's Start at the Beginning" Itty-Bitty Swap.  You can check out all the particulars on my Ravelry project page.  Thank you SO MUCH Elly!!  I'm just thrilled with them!

I hope you are having a great Saturday and get to sneak in some knitting/crocheting here and there.  I plan on finishing the second sock of the next pair that I'm working on and maybe even start another!

Much Love xx

  1. These are very pretty. Does it take long to knit a pair of socks?

  2. Thanks Lucy! It all depends on how much time a day I can spend knitting, but if I focus and knit quite a bit they only take a couple of days.

  4. Thanks Stef! They really are so comfy :) I'm going to give them a little "spa treatment" and then get them onto my feet so I can enjoy them!

  5. Wow! They look incredible! The yarn colorway looks even better knitted up! I salute you for sticking with your sock plan. One of my New Year's resolutions was to knit 1 pair of socks per month, I started on one, but never finished, since I've been so busy lately. But this really motivates me to get started soon. The minute things slow down a bit.

I can't wait to see more of your sock projects!

I'm working real hard to stick to my plan - it's going well right now because I'm actually enjoying knitting the socks, so hopefully that continues....at least till the end of the month! lol
Good luck with your socks!! I hope things start slowing down to a nice pace for you soon and that you're able to get back to enjoying your crafting, you do such lovely work :D

P.S. I find everyone's comments help to keep me motivated!!
