Meet Hermie

Hello Knitters,

This is a picture of a cute little turtle named Hermie. He is made from "Tuck" the newest free pattern on the Spud and Chloe blog Spud Says! He's very quick to make, and he can do something quite neat....

He can actually tuck his head, feet and tail up inside his shell! I made him for my Mom and she named him Hermie because her younger sister used to have a imaginary pet turtle named Hermie.

Now that I'm done him, I'm not sure what I will start working on next. I'm not even sure if I will have much time right now to start anything new because all my products are selling very well at the Pancake House, and I need to be keeping up production! The Lord is really blessing everything, and I'm so grateful!!! I'm having so much fun making everything :-)

Well, I should get back to work, I hope you all have a great start to the weekend!!

P.S. The Spring issue of Petite Purls is out!! Yay!! It's a HUGE issue with some truly amazing patterns. You can check it out for yourself here.

  3. How cuuuuute! You did a great job on that turtle! I can't wait to knit that pattern. It's adorable!

By the way, great job on your blog, I look forward to reading it everyday :) All those cakes and pies you bake motivate me to learn how to bake! It looks like so much fun, but I've always been a bad cook and baker. There's only a couple of things I know how to make, everything else I burn haha. But seeing all those beautiful delicious foods you make, makes me want to practice practice and practice some more!

  4. Eliana,

Thank you so much for your kind comments! You are too sweet!! Don't worry about the baking, it just takes practice. You should have seen the stuff I used to make! It took a long time for people to be willing to try things! lol I love making things though, so it's kept me going, even through the "bad ones"! lol
