Random Things on a Monday

Lily of the Valley embroidery I made a while ago from a free Wild Olive pattern you can find here. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with it yet.
A sailboat that anchored itself across the lake from us and spent the night a few weeks ago.  This shot was taken in the morning.  It's a rare thing for sailboats to spend the night around here, so it's a treat to see one when it does.
Momma deer with her baby fawn.
A closer look at the little cutie.

P.S. Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians!!  I hope you all have been having a wonderful long weekend.

  1. Pretty embroidery, Ralli. Your stitches are nice and neat.
How cool you live by a lake and get to see such wildlife. The fawn's markings are unique and amazing.

    1. Thank you! I've been working on making my stitches more even, I find they're not all the same length, but I guess it just takes practice.
I can't imagine living anywhere but near the water, it holds such a special place in my heart :) The little fawns are always so cute and I agree, their markings are amazing.
