Bunnies, Bunnies Everywhere!!!

Hello Knitters,

How was everyone's Easter? Mine was very good. It was quiet and relaxing, which was nice after the busy week before :-) Above, is a picture of the tiny Easter bunnies I made for my family. They were so quick to make and really fun. I used the Catnip Bunny pattern by Selina Kyle. If you want to see more about them (yarn, needles, etc), you can check them out on my Ravlery project page here. After taking this picture, I went to do something and came back to find three of them in a circle and one a bit farther away on the floor. I asked my Mom if she moved them, and she said no, and that's when I found out it was my Yorkie, Emmie. I think she thought they were for her! She took quite a shine to them. So I thought I would make her some that she could play with because they're just her size. I made her five, but she doesn't seem to like them quite as much as the ones I made for my family because hers do not have pom pom tails (she would just chew them right off!). I'll have to take a picture of her with them and post it for you to see soon. These are some of the first few things I've made for her, so it makes me so happy to see her playing with them!

I also wanted to share with you all the adorable wreath my Mom made for me! Last year I sewed this bunny, but she just didn't look right, it was like there was something missing. This year when I took her out, Mom came up with the idea of putting her on a wreath I could hang on my bedroom door. She found some pretty Easter eggs, and made this up for me. She's so talented, and I think it looks great! I'm keeping it up for a while longer because I think it can go for Spring decor as well as Easter.

Now I know a while back I mentioned that I was working on a special project that I wanted to share with all of you...here is a sneak peek! I hope to have it done soon, but I haven't gotten to spend as much time on it lately as I thought I would. It's on my to-do list for today though!

I also wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to have another (quite possibly even better) surprise for you in the very near future, I will tell a bit more about it in a few days! I'm so excited I'm having trouble keeping it quiet!!!

Well, I'm going to get back to my project, I wish you all a wonderful Tuesday afternoon!
